Te Kaha Bay

Te Kaha is definitely one of the most beautiful spots along New Zealand’s East Cape and the bay here is sheltered and semi-enclosed.

Spend days on the beach - relaxing in the sun, swimming in the safe blue waters, and fishing from nearby rocky outcrops (great fishing to be had without even needing to get in a boat) or take a kayak out for a few hours and explore this stunning coastline’s many ‘hidden’ treasures.

Children will love exploring the rock pools at low tide, building sandcastles and splashing about in the calm shallows.

There is a boat launch pad right here so within 10 minutes of walking outside the Resort you could be anchored up and reeling in the first big catch of the day!
